“The main theme of this book is, taking the traditional scheme into consideration, to reveal Keats’s politics, or rather, the ideological background of his poetry. By referring to his contemporaries’ essays and poems as well as to Keats’s letters and related poems, this book is intended as an investigation of the background of the so-called Romantic Age (or the Regency Period) and the theory of Romanticism insinuated in the poetry of Keats as a whole.”

著者紹介

江口誠(えぐち　まこと)
2000年広島大学大学院文学研究科英語学英文学専攻博士課程後期修了。
同年呉工業高等専門学校に職を得て、
2011年から愛知教育大学に勤務。
2004年-2005年マンチェスター大学リサーチ・フェロー。
